We’re now hiring the following position:

Customer Service (Point of Sale) & Food Prep Support

Though no experience is needed, this position is a key role in our goal of making everyone feel valued and welcome at Vent! This dual role has two main objectives:

Excellent Customer Service at Point of Sale
This will include a friendly greeting for each customer when they enter, answering questions they may have, taking their order in our Point of Sale (Square), fulfilling drip coffee and tea orders (nothing involving the espresso machine), and helping keep the shop tidy and clean. It will also include answering the occasional phone call to answer customer questions (usually for directions, hours, or about indoor/outdoor seating).

High Quality Baking and Food Preparation
After being trained on each recipe and food menu items, this role will include:
-baking a variety of cookies and pastries
-preparation of ingredients for our breakfast sandwiches, toasts, etc.
-assembling food items per customer orders

Interested in Barista Training?
Once you’ve mastered the food prep, baking, and customer service, Barista training would begin. This includes pulling delicious shots of espresso, steaming milk to pour beautiful latte art, and more!

Hours
We’re currently prioritizing candidates with full availability. We are also open to candidates with limited schedules, as long as they have relevant prior experience.
